Meet the Equines of Jenovation Farm (Bios)
"Human Wisdom Gained Through Horseplay"

The services of EquineWise employ not only humans, but equines as well. For this reason we have included their bios too!

Niska

This partbred Arabian mare is an angel and has a disposition that can't be matched. She is incredibly gentle and was used in a disabled riding program as a 4 year old. She has several offspring that reside at Jenovation Farm.

Shmu

Horse shows and numerous other events have not been uncommon for this partbred Arabian mare. She has done it all, Cattle Penning, Gymkhanas, Parades, Musical Drills, Mountain Trail Riding and the Battle of the Breeds at Spruce Meadows. She is a highly spirited and intelligent horse. Shmu is Niska's daughter.

Dude

This young son of Niska is displaying the same loving disposition as his mother. He is often found nuzzling clients and removing hats.

Sheena

For a 26 year- old mare, Sheena is still as spry as ever. She is a purebred Arabian. She has been a children's horse most of her life that competed in several disciplines and was a very talented Gymkhana horse for her young rider. She is another extremely gentle horse that, while being as safe as can be, sometimes also displays a bit of 'attitude'.

Lollipop

Mules like this one are precious indeed! Lollipop, previously known as Daisy, has won countless awards in the few years that she was shown. She competed in all manner of events where she consistently placed above horses. She is 25 years old and has the most endearing personality. She is far from anything that most people think of mules to be and is a great ambassador for the breed.

Short & Sweet

He stands about 33 inches tall and is as cute as can be. 'Sweet' is, however, not always in his nature. He is an 8 year-old barnyard pet who has the run of the farm. He is a mini-hinny, which is a hybrid like a mule but unlike the mule whose mother is a horse and whose father is a donkey. Shorty's parent's roles were reversed. His Daddy was a horse and his Momma was a donkey, which is somewhat more rare than a mule. He has done a bit of driving, hooked to a cart, and has been to a few mule shows where he once achieved the title of Champion Fun Mule. He often takes on the role of 'welcoming committee' and loves to be scratched and cuddled, if the mood permits
